CALL Film Festival – for the first time in Bad Hofgastein / From 28 to 31 May
The CALL Film Festival brings film stars and Reinhold Messner to Bad Hofgastein.
Featuring numerous national and international stars and legends, a clear thematic focus – “Movies with a Cause”, cinema with a stance and films with a message – and the world’s first cinematic retrospective on the trailblazer Reinhold Messner.
It will be a star-studded line-up the likes of which the Gastein Valley hasn’t seen in a long time: two compelling programme themes will take centre stage at the first CALL Film Festival 2026, which will take place from 28 to 31 May in Bad Hofgastein:
“CALL for Nature” and “CALL for Peace”, two of arguably the most important issues of our time. Bad Hofgastein is expecting a host of prominent figures to present films or engage with these themes on stage, in audience discussions and in masterclasses.
