OPENING OF THE REINHOLD MESSNER HOUSE!!!

Welcome to the old mountain station at Helm in Sesto – a place steeped in history, reimagined: the Reinhold Messner House will open its doors on 28 June 2025. In collaboration with 3 Zinnen Ag, the former cable car building has been creatively upcycled into a vibrant space for mountains, people and culture.

Together with my wife Diane, I am delighted to open this special place. It is imbued with symbols and values that are close to Diane's and my heart and that I have experienced in 70 years of mountaineering all over the world.

It not only tells my story, but also invites visitors to discover, reflect and marvel. For all generations – open, dialogical and boundless like the mountains.
