Romy for Bergwelten documentary ‘Mount Everest – The Last Step’

Reinhold Messner's third directorial work, ‘Mount Everest – The Last Step’, received the Romy (Austrian film and television award) for best TV documentary on 11 April 2019. To mark this award, ServusTV will be showing the Bergwelten documentary on Monday, 15 April 2019! Romy makes Messner proud

The Bergwelten documentary ‘Mount Everest – The Last Step’ is Reinhold Messner's third directorial work for ServusTV. Winning the Romy for best TV documentary fills the 74-year-old with pride: "I am very grateful that ServusTV gave me the opportunity to try out a new form of storytelling in my later years. Making films is the most complex and difficult form of storytelling and enriches my life immensely."
